Normally autumn brings changing colours....and loads of Cruises
“Land was created to provide a place for ships to visit” – Brooks Atkinson

Normally the shore excursion department would be preparing for a busy autumn / winter season of back to back cruise stops. However the current situation has not made this possible and we miss the feeling of anticipation at this time of the year……The smell of salt at the harbours, the crisp mornings and sensational sunrises preparing the logistics, the buzz in advance of a ship docking and then that fantastic moment when we greet our guests onto coaches and chaperone them towards unknown adventures. It is fascinating every time to see how after so many years working in this segment ground staff, guides, drivers, port workers have developed an affection for the ships we receive dockside. Not to mention the fact that we get to see trusted shore excursion managers, captains, officers, safety officers and deck staff again. For repeat guests the voyage is often about going back to their trusted ship but what makes it a different experience all together is the fascinating people they meet on every voyage. For us at TenTravel DMC it is that same sort of feeling. Whether docking again or whether on a maiden voyage seeing these majestic vessels come into any of our Canary Island ports is a sight worth experiencing and we hope to see them back in our ports (safely) sooner than later. In the meantime full steam ahead in order to stay fit and stay safe!!
