We are proud and delighted to see how the RitzCarlton Abama in Tenerife have been awarded the Best MICE Hotel 2020 at the first edition of the Beyond Luxury Awards held in Barcelona.
The event took place in the Great Room at Hotel W in Barcelona and was attended by relevant personalities within our industry the likes of Liran Wizman founder and owner of the Circle Collection and co-founder of the Entourage Group; Yossi Eliyahoo, co-founder of the Entourage Group; Pascal Billard, general manager at Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona; Julian Cabanillas, general manager at Marbella Club Hotel; Gregory De Clerck, general manager at The-Ritz Carlton Abama and a long list of others including chef Carles Abellán.
We all know that MICE is more than a location, more than a venue, more than an activity. For MICE to be possible the destination has to offer ALL the relevant facilities and options; as a DMC on the Canary Islands we are used to working in the shadows but that does not mean we do not feel that this deserved prize is also a little bit of our reward. We are delighted for the RitzCarlton Abama MICE team, ecstatic for our destination (and a little bit happy for and with ourselves!!!) VAMOSS!!!
