The flatest of the seven islands Fuerteventura boasts the best beaches north of the equator. A sensational display of white sands throughout its 1.660km2 it is also the nearest of the canary archipielago to the African continent (84km) and it is also the oldest of the islands dating back 20 million years. Largely untouched except for in the tourist hubs it offers active options for groups of all ages and excellent accommodation options throughout its territory. With a population of only 75.000 people the island exudes tranquility making it a fabulous getaway for groups and leisure guests alike.
